Private Yoga Sessions are the perfect way to begin or deepen your personal practice.

Are you new to yoga and wish you could try it out in a private setting before attending a group class? Are you looking to build a personal home practice?

Or — Do you find it hard to squeeze in enough time for a full class? Does your schedule conflict with regular group class times? Would you like to do yoga before work in the morning? Or in the evening at your place? With Zoom or Skype, we have the flexibility to do yoga together from anywhere in the world!

Or — Do you wish you could have a fuller conversation with an Instructor about a specific pose (asana)? Have you wanted to understand how to use breath (pranayama) to balance your energy?

Or — Do you have an injury or limitation that makes it challenging to attend a regular group class?

Whatever your reason, Private Yoga allows you to get EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED from every session!


Janie Ganga will guide you to use the tools of yoga:

– warm ups and simple movements

– breath practices

– asana (yoga poses)

– yoga nidra (guided meditation)

– yoga philosophy (“the teachings”)

The tools will allow you to find balance at the level of mind, body, and spirit. Each 60-minute session is customized to whatever is happening for YOU at that moment.

Together, we may identify homework or a plan for our practice over time. But the biggest benefit of Private Yoga is that it brings your energy back into balance. Because you are constantly shifting – mentally, physically, emotionally – each Private Yoga session will be different. Uniquely adapted to you.

Private Yoga Therapy

Janie Ganga offers 90-minute sessions of Private Yoga Therapy using the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Therapy.

What is Private Yoga Therapy? Your body stores all the tensions you carry – physical, mental, and emotional. These tensions – in the form of energy blocks – affect your posture, breath patterns, thoughts, emotions, sleep, digestion, stress levels, and overall health.  Private Yoga Therapy is designed to locate and ease these tensions and blocks. Sessions may include physical assists (either in person, or expert guidance on customizing your use of props for sessions via Zoom). Combining the physical along with meditative guidance is a powerful way to release trapped energies, allowing your body to heal deeply.

What is Integral Breathwork?

Integral Breathwork uses the organic process of the breath to uncover subconscious patterns. As the Facilitator, Janie Ganga is a witness and guide for your experience. In an altered state, we have the ability to access & heal things we cannot access with the logical mind. By combining Reichian body/mind techniques, corrective experiences, and two simple Breath patterns, the healing of old & deep wounds is possible very quickly.

Janie Ganga offers a single session for basic assessment of your default breath pattern and instruction on the basic induction breath.
